Dr. Erin Sloss earned her doctorate from the University of Iowa in 2003, where she went on to earn her certificate in orthodontics and Master of Science degree in 2005. In 2008, she was published by the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

She volunteers her time to the Give Kids a Smile program, which provides essential dental care to underprivileged children. Dr. Sloss is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. She serves as a Cleft Lip and Palate Team Doctor at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children.
