Le contact avec Dr Kyle était inoubliable,il était disponible et ouvert à toutes les propositions de projets ,son esprit professionnel et sa générosité de partager m’avait marquée ainsi que toute l’équipe que je représentais. It is a pleasure to write a recommendation for Kyle. He has organised different projects I’ve participated in, in relation with the WONCA Young Doctors Movement. He’s always displayed great leadership skills: motivating, attentive, receptive and organised. We mainly worked together online. He was the one who initiated the conversation through social media and wanted to know my professional interests, then he offered me participating in several projects compatible with them. I have had the pleasure of working with Kyle since 2014 most specifically through our online Balint 2.0 group where we optimized the digital technology for Balint group standardization. We further worked on multiple additional projects – such as the #1WordforFamilyMedicine and MOOC initiatives – which culminated in several publications. He has always been a strong leader and team member – consistently adding valuable insight and contributions. I look forward to many more years pushing the boundaries of our specialty. Any team is lucky to have Kyle within their organization.

It came to know Dr. Kyle Hoedebecke in 2015 during the Wonca Europe Conference in Istanbul. Since that time I follow his activities in social media, and keep in touch with him. I had a privilege to participate in the International (Global, I would say) Project initiated by Dr. Hoedebecke – #1WordforFamilyMedicine, and to become a #SoMe Ambassador of the week. Dr. Kyle Hoedebecke is known to be a founder of Wonca Polaris movement of young doctors from Northern America region. In April 2017 Dr. Hoedebecke was invited to Almaty, Kazakhstan, to take part in the 3rd Congress of Family Physicians of Kazakhstan as a speaker of Young Doctor’s Club, to motivate and inspire young and future doctors to choose Family Medicine as their profession, and shared his amazing experience. He provides a lot of support to me and my colleague from Kyrgyzstan, in our will to organize the Joint Movement of young Family Doctors of Central Asia.

As a family medicine physician in the Dominican Republic, I have had the fortune of working with Kyle over the past several years where he has provided amazing support in the global efforts to strengthen family medicine. We first met and presented together at the 2015 WONCA Ibero-American Regional Conference in Montevideo, Uruguay. His leadership has further been demonstrated among his innovations include the ASPIRE global leader curricula, the Balint 2.0 group, and the Social Media Network of GP/FM. He even helped us found the Dominican young doctor movement, which was launched in October 2015 at the WONCA Polaris Preconference in Denver, Colorado. Kyle has provided hundreds of hours in leadership and mentorship for residents and trainees in the Dominican Republic as well as dozen of other countries around the world. He has served among my personal mentors and has helped me – as well as my organization – grow professionally. More importantly, he is a true leader that had gained respect the world over – serving as an exemplary ambassador of American Family Medicine.

Kyle is a great family doctor by excellence, he has a special ability to motivate people to be extraordinarily productive with his magical stimulation and mind storming techniques. I have been working with him remotely to enhance our specialty (Family medicine) through WONCA organization, I could see how he is an open-minded, tolerable, respected and scientifically oriented physician, I can summarize that he should be a guru in medicine. I worked with Kyle on a workshop for an international conference. Even though we didn’t know each other before, working together was easy going and productive from the first email until after the workshop.
