Born in New York, Dr. Koeltl grew up in Saratoga with his older sister and younger brother. He attended the Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology, and he earned his D.D.S. degree from New York University.
Dr. Koeltl is dedicated to using the latest advancements in dentistry and keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies. He states that, “We try to make all of our patients feel as comfortable as possible, which is why we embrace a patient and family-centered care philosophy.”
Prior to launching his cosmetic dental practice in Blackhawk Plaza, Dr. Koeltl completed hundreds of hours of courses in postgraduate dentistry and worked for a large dental practice in Milpitas, California, where he concentrated on keeping his patients healthy and happy.
Dr. Koeltl has over 15 years of experience as a family dentist and has extensive training in treating people of all ages. He completed a mini-residency at UCLA in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea. He also completed courses in the Advanced Concepts Of Cosmetic Dentistry at the Northern California Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as numerous classes at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
When Dr. Koeltl is not practicing his passion of cosmetic dentistry, he spends most of his time with his family, his wife, Janine, and daughters, Reganne, Riley and Addison. He enjoys playing golf, coaching basketball and spending time with his family at their cabin in the Sierra mountains.
