Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Savita Singh completed her Bachelor of Science with Distinction at the University of Toronto, St. George Campus. She then obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University, Washington D.C. where she graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Singh then proceeded to obtain a three-year residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters of Dental Science for her cutting-edge research on the treatment and prevention of dental White Spot Lesions. Dr. Singh’s specialization lies in dentofacial orthopedics, conventional orthodontics, and growth and development. She possesses immense proficiency in conventional braces including Damon Self Ligation, In-Ovation Self Ligation, Harmony Lingual Braces, MBT, Victory Roth, and Clear Aligner Therapy, among others. She possesses a great amount of experience in a range of orthodontic cases including those related to Orthognathic Surgery and other dentofacial abnormalities and syndromes. In recognition of her academic and professional brilliance, Dr. Singh has received several awards, scholarships, and accolades including the Plunkett Scholarship, B & W Parris Scholarship, Howard University Trustee Scholarship, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Award at Howard University, among others. She is also a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is an active member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists and the Ontario Association of Orthodontics. Having spent most of her academic life in the United States, Dr. Singh loves being back in her hometown of Toronto. When she is not working, she enjoys reading and learning across all areas of Orthodontics and also loves spending time with her loved ones.
