Dr. Schmidt received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder and dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She went on to complete a year of advanced clinical training at Mercy Hospital’s General Practice Residency program in her hometown of St. Louis. Missouri. Also in St. Louis, Dr. Schmidt worked alongside her father at his family and cosmetic practice. Dr. Schmidt’s love for the mountains brought her back to Colorado in 2013. Dr. Schmidt is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, and the Seattle Study Club. She has also traveled to Guatemala and the Dominican Republic to provide dental care to the local residents through outreach programs. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Schmidt loves to travel. Her passion has taken her to Europe, Asia, Central and South America, and Africa where she summited Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dr. Schmidt spends her free time with her husband taking advantage of everything Colorado has to offer as an avid skier, hiker, and yogi, bringing along her Boxer dog Layla, whenever possible.
