She is triple Board-certified by the ABMS in Internal Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Pain Medicine. Her expertise includes pain and non-pain symptom management related to advanced illnesses and their treatments combined with complex end of life care. She provides high–level symptom management for adult and pediatric patients using a broad spectrum of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.

Dr. Dana Tarcatu is one of the most caring and compassionate physicians I have met thus far in my career. As a medical oncologist, I am faced with the task of seeing many terminal patients. Dr. Tarcatu has worked closely with many of my patients to ensure that their transition towards the last stages of life is dignified and humane. She goes above the call of duty, answering her patients’ queries after hours and on holidays.
