Dr. Ivanov is a specialist in Periodontics with a focus on the treatment of periodontal disease, hard and soft tissue augmentation and dental implantology. He received extensive training in all aspects of Periodontics, and he takes pride in providing his patients with the ability to maintain a healthy and esthetic smile. Dr. Ivanov is also trained in moderate IV Sedation, helping our most anxious patients receive excellent periodontal care in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Dr. Ivanov received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara, graduating with Summa Cum Laude (Highest Honors). He was awarded a D.D.S. degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry and continued his post-doctoral education by completing an Advanced Periodontics and Implant Dentistry residency at the Veterans Hospital of West Los Angeles/UCLA Medical Center. It was during his residency that Dr. Ivanov obtained extensive experience with managing medically compromised patients. His passions include full-mouth rehabilitation, interdisciplinary Perio-Prosthodontics reconstructive therapy, soft tissue augmentation, and full-arch implant treatment. Dr. Ivanov is a former Clinical Instructor of Periodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry in Westwood and UCLA Venice Dental Clinic. Dr. Ivanov is a Los Angeles native. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys life with his young family. His hobbies include fitness, cooking, and music. He is fluent in English and Russian.
