Dr. Choi’s path to dentistry began in South Korea, where she grew up before moving to the United States in 2006. During her undergraduate studies, she had the opportunity to shadow a dentist who became her mentor. Watching how her mentor built meaningful relationships with patients and made genuine differences in their lives inspired Dr. Choi to pursue dentistry as her career.
After earning her undergraduate degree cum laude in just three and a half years, Dr. Choi attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She began her career in Raleigh, North Carolina, working in pediatric dentistry and discovering her passion for helping children build positive relationships with dental care.
Dr. Choi later relocated to the Atlanta area to provide her family a supportive environment. There, she gained extensive experience working in a large practice, caring for a wide range of patients. While she valued the clinical experience, she was drawn to a more personal approach to dentistry, one that emphasizes continuity of care and lasting relationships with patients and their families.
