Dr. Suzuki has been a certified specialist in orthodontics since 1999 and is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He is past president of the British Columbia Society of Orthodontists (07/08) and has also been a member of the Practice Standards Committee at the College of Dental Surgeons of BC. On September 2008, Dr. Suzuki was appointed to the first Board of the College of Dental Surgeons of BC under the new legislation (Health Professions Act) – which is the governing body for the profession of dentistry in British Columbia. Dr. Suzuki is also a member of the Inquiry and Registration Committees at the College which are responsible for dealing with public complaints and licensing of dentists respectively. Dr. Suzuki is also serves as the College representative for the Dental Specialists Society of BC.
