At Gunnerson Dental, K. Cheyn Gunnerson, DMD, prides himself on offering comprehensive dental services to patients in Payson, Utah, using the latest technologies available.
Understanding that budget, time, and anxiety are concerns for most patients, Dr. Gunnerson strives to make every dental visit as productive and pleasant as possible. He uses state-of-the-art tools like CEREC® crowns, SICAT® cone beam imaging for sleep apnea, and NuCalm®. Dr. Gunnerson is one of the first dentists in Utah to offer this unparalleled level of technology. His practice was featured in the January/February 2018 issue of Utah Valley Magazine as a five-star dental office.
Dr. Gunnerson began his medical career at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology. From there, he continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, where he earned his dental degree, graduating with honors in the top 5% of his class.
Upon completing his education, Dr. Gunnerson became a board-certified dentist in 1996 and has been practicing ever since. To remain current on developments in his field, Dr. Gunnerson stays actively involved in the Utah Dental Association, the Academy of LDS Dentists, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, among others.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gunnerson is also a member of the Payson Civic Chorale.
