Dr. Freisleben-Cook is a Pediatrician/Developmental Pediatrician with an interest in Children with Special Health Care Needs, unusual or undiagnosed problems, medical and educational challenges and those who care for them. She attended the UCLA School of Medicine as a Regent Scholar and went on to complete advanced training in Pediatrics, Developmental Disability, Genetics and the Epidemiology of Developmental Disabilities and Birth Defects.

Lois and I worked in Germany with the Exceptional Family Member Program in the late 1980s and are currently participants in the Preventive Services Improvement Project for the American Academy of Pediatrics Quality Improvement Network. She is a superb, knowlegable and very caring pediatrician. If she were near them I would recommend her for my grandchildren!
