Dr. Scott Koopman was born in Rochester, NY and grew up in Webster. While attending a Rochester Scholars program through University of Rochester, his dentistry dream started. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from University at Buffalo, he went on to get his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
To continue his dental experience, Dr. Koopman completed his General Practice Residency program back where it all started, University of Rochester and Eastman Institute for Oral Health.
Dr. Koopman has a strong interest in extending his dental knowledge to many different areas of dentistry. With this knowledge, he hopes to one day pass it on to the next generation of dentists.
Dr. Koopman and his wife, Nicole, spend their evenings with their miniature schnauzer, Wilson. Dr Koopman continues to play and watch baseball during the summer months and is on a bowling team during the winter. He is also an avid Star Wars fan.
