Dr. Shannon is a Maryland native who received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Shannon returned to the Washington, D.C. metro area to complete her dental training at Howard University. After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Shannon completed a General Practice residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester. Dr. Shannon regularly attends continuing education courses to expand the number of services that she can offer to her patients. Dr. Shannon is a certified Invisalign provider and an active member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) allowing her to provide treatment in a safe and comfortable manner for all patients. In her spare time Dr. Shannon enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.
