I have completed my BDS from Annamalai university, Chidambaram. Successively, for want of a hospital based experience, I joined as an observer in Head and Neck Oncological unit in Mazumdar Shaw cancer center, Bangalore, India. During my observership in Head and Neck unit, I developed a strong interest in the surgical field. This made me pursue Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as my Post graduation field in Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital, Chennai where I was guided well by my mentors in the area of surgical procedures and research activities. Successively I did a fellowship in Aesthetic Facial Surgery, RGUHS, Bangalore. After honing my surgical skills and clinical acumen by working with various surgical teams in Bangalore, I started my career in a teaching institution in Bangalore, where I happened to associate myself with lot of research activities. I exposed myself to the field of Implantology by attending the reputed American Academy of Implant Dentistry program by which I developed keen interest in reconstructing the Maxillofacial area.
