Susan Schroeder, MD is a skilled dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. She addresses all aspects of general dermatology and is a recognized expert in skin cancer diagnosis/treatment, Mohs surgery/reconstructions, and cosmetic surgery. She treats all ages, from infants to elderly. Dr. Schroeder is a board-certified dermatologist with fellowship training in procedures such as Mohs Micrographic Surgery for skin cancers, and cosmetic surgery including laser treatments and injectables such as neuromodulators and fillers. She is one of a select few in Southern Colorado with this advanced level of training. As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at The University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus, Dr. Schroeder pioneered the introduction and growth of the cosmetic dermatology and cosmeceutical division at the University. For the first time, residents were formally taught and exposed to this specialty field on a regular basis. She continues to interact and teach residents as voluntary faculty. Dr. Schroeder is originally from New York and is an alumnus of Choate-Rosemary Hall and Columbia College (Columbia University). She received her Medical Degree from New York Medical College and completed Medical Internship, Dermatology Residency and Cosmetic/Surgical Fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Schroeder brings a wealth of knowledge to Colorado Springs from her years of experience and expertise. She addresses all aspects of Dermatology, from skin cancers and acne to laser skin resurfacing and tumescent liposuction.
