Dr. Gurney received a Bachelors of Science degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2005. In 2009, he successfully completed dental school at Creighton University School of Dentistry, receiving the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Dental school fueled his passion for dental implant and comprehensive dental therapy, so he continued his dental training at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry with a three year Advanced Prosthodontic Residency Program (Click here to Read a Letter of Recommendation from OSU Professor Dr. Svensson). In 2012, he completed his training by receiving a specialty certificate in Prosthodontics as well as Masters of Science (MS) in Dentistry for his research related to clinical implant dentistry.

Dr. Gurney is an excelllent grauate specialist in Prosthodontics. He is an outstanding resident (possibly I ever had in over 20 years of directing graduate programs). He possesses superior technical skills, patient management skills and works well with other grad students who come from all over the world. He often serves as a mentor to the underclass students. His character is beyond reproach and is a great moral and ethical model for his fellow students and staff. His motivation to excel is at the highest level and I am sure he will excel in any endeavor that he choses.

Lynn Gurney is one of the hardest working and driven people that I have ever known. We worked closely together during our residency and he always impressed me with how on top of things he was. While I was always waiting to find time to organize and improve my work, he was actually doing it. I feel he will excel as a prosthodontist and would not hesitate seeing him for my own dental needs. I feel that is the biggest compliment one could give as a fellow prosthodontist. You can trust you are in good hands with Dr. Gurney.
